Teal Sapphire Trilogy Ring
Some pieces arrive quickly.
Others take time.
This bespoke sapphire ring was the result of an extensive search for a gemstone that felt truly extraordinary. After exploring options from around the world, the perfect sapphire was finally found: a remarkable 5.04ct unheated teal sapphire from Madagascar, displaying shifting tones of deep blue and green that seem to change with every movement.
The design evolved over multiple consultations, sketches and refinements. Each adjustment brought greater balance, allowing the beauty of the sapphire to remain the focus while creating a ring that feels effortless and elegant when worn.
Natural trapezoid and tapered baguette diamonds frame the centre stone, adding structure and light without overwhelming the sapphire's unique character. Handcrafted in platinum with subtle yellow gold accents, the finished piece feels both contemporary and timeless.
One of my favourite details sits quietly inside the band. A small emerald, hidden from view, was set as a personal reminder of something meaningful to the wearer. A detail known only to those who understand its significance.
The result is a ring defined not by excess, but by careful restraint. A piece that demonstrates just how powerful simplicity can be when every element has been considered.
