Gemstone jewellery speaks to individuality. Whether working with diamonds, coloured gemstones, or a combination of both, no two stones are ever the same. In this studio, diamonds play a central role in many designs, often paired with coloured gemstones as companions or accents. Every commission begins with time and conversation. Stones are sourced specifically with the client in mind, and a small selection is brought in for them to view in person. This gives space to notice the details that matter most: how a stone responds to light, how it sits against the skin, and how it feels to wear.
Working with natural gemstones
Christine works with natural diamonds, sapphires, rubies, emeralds, spinels, tourmalines, and a range of other natural coloured gemstones. These stones are chosen for their character, durability, and suitability for how the jewellery will be worn. Each gemstone is sourced for a specific person, allowing the process to remain thoughtful and personal rather than generic or trend led.
Why people are drawn to gemstones
People are drawn to gemstones for deeply personal reasons. Some feel connected to stones worn by family members across generations. Others are drawn instinctively to a colour, even if they are unsure which gemstones naturally appear in that tone.
